Global Corporate Employer

Gold Challenge was approached to enhance a pre-existing, internally run global health and exercise challenge. Through our web and mobile platforms we ran the challenge that has existed for over 13 years, which aimed to increase staff’s physical activity. Taking on board the client’s strengths of the programme, we then made enhancements to improve participation and usability. Over 50% of participants were new to the challenge this year and reported an increase in physical activity throughout. We are continuing to work closely with the client to develop the programme further for 2016.

What the participants had to say:

“For me, participating in the Run-A-Muck was more than an exercise challenge. It meant a commitment to myself to have a healthier life from now on! Truly has become my personal mission to live every day with this intention!”

“My greatest motivation during the competition was to see how much the team was making an effort to go beyond limits – and we all found new and bigger limits to overcome! Leaving behind old habits and starting to face a healthier lifestyle was something that we shared daily, and this helped us to keep counting our minutes.”

“I loved the challenge! It became so much fun along the weeks and it definitely eased my process of entering into a healthier lifestyle. It also allowed me to get to know a lot of people and find out different physical activities that are great for me.”

“I abandoned a sedentary life and now I have more energy to do my daily activities. And doing this with friends, as part of a team, stimulated me to go forward!”
