Making every moment count for 30 years
The Hospice offers a combined approach to care where our professionals work closely with patients on not only the relief of pain, but also to allay fears and restore a sense of empowerment and dignity. We provide an individualised holistic approach to care, with the physical, social, psychological and spiritual needs of the patients being central to the care we offer, as well as the ongoing support of carers and relatives. The Charity is solely responsible for funding Day Therapy and Hospice at Home. It also funds vital services such as complementary therapists, the Chaplain, bereavement counsellors, creative and diversional therapy, a schools liaisons officer and all costs associated with our team of voluneteers; not to mention the capital projects!
