We know our small grants make a big difference!
Since 2002, we've given away £1M in grants to over 550 community groups. These groups provide life changing skills; opportunities to learn and ways to build the confidence of those overcoming domestic violence, poverty, or ill health. Supporting women's growth, self-sufficiency and social economic equality benefits all of us. Throughout Scotland communities have been transformed by the imagination, activities and commitment of women championed by the Women's Fund for Scotland. Pink Ladies (pictured above) provide training and tutors for vulnerable women in a safe environment. Two recently widowed women said; "We felt deflated and isolated before attending Pink Ladies workshops where we acquired new interests and now have our lives back on track." Why Choose the Women's Fund for Scotland We believe that women are the foundation of communities and often need added support. With the help of the Scottish Community Foundation we believe that stronger communities will be more successful communities, with a better quality of life for everyone. We know that helping women helps communities! We know that helping women helps communities! The Woman's Fund for Scotland is a fund held by the Scottish Community Foundation (known also as "SCF") which is registered as a Scottish charity (SC022910) and is a company limited by guarantee (SC152949) with its registered office at 22 Calton Road, Edinburgh, EH8 8DP |
