Changing lives through sport & playWelcome to the Gold Challenge with Right To Play. Right To Play is the world's leading international humanitarian and development organisation that uses the transformative power of sport and play to build essential skills in children and thereby drive social change in communities affected by war, poverty and disease. If you believe that sport can change lives, you have come to the right place. This is a challenge that will open up new sports to you, test your ability in sports you already know, and who knows - you might find you have a talent you never knew you had.
By fundraising for Right To Play, your donations will go to children who will also be learning life skills & valuable life lessons through our sporting programmes. So don't delay, sign up to Right To Play today. We are looking for individuals who want to combine a personal sporting challenge with having a tangible impact on the lives of children in Africa, Asia, the Middle East, and South America. By challenging yourself to learn new skills over the course of the challenge, you will also be raising money to improve the lives of some of the most disadvantaged children in the world through our Sport for Development programmes. It takes around £25 to work with one child twice a week for a year - our aim is to work with one million children in this way by 2012.
It is because of individuals like you that we are able to carry out our vision and message and offer the proper training and resources to do so. It is truly wonderful to have our supporters understand and appreciate the importance of sports, health, development, and peace, and be motivated to do something to help us continue our work. By signing up to the Gold Challenge with Right To Play you are promoting every child's right to play and learn in peace. Thank you. |
