Table Tennis

Table tennis is one of the most popular sports in the world. Different genders and ages can compete on a near-equal footing because guile, deception and imagination are equally as important as strength and power.

What do I need to do?

Learn table tennis by doing at least three hours of coaching or take part in a competition.

How much will it cost?

It could cost up to £15 for three hours.

Where can I play table tennis?

At a table tennis club or leisure centre. Use our Sports Finder to find your nearest centre/club.

Gold Challenge is the charity challenge where you take on Olympic Sports and Paralympic Sports to raise money for charity. Everyone aged 7 upwards can take part in Gold Challenge as an individual or as part of a team. Participants choose from the challenges available and fundraise money for one of Gold Challenge’s 125 charities.

Gold Challenge works with the British Olympic Association, Sport England, sportscotland, Sport Wales, ParalympicsGB and the National Governing Bodies of the Olympic and Paralympic sports. It is part of ‘Places People Play’ – the official mass participation legacy programme for London 2012.

We also offer several corporate challenges, which can be great for corporate team building and fundraising events ideas.
